Shore excursion skip the line for Vatican and Ancient Rome

The driver will pick you up at the port and drive you to Rome where i'll meet you in ancient Rome area. We'll start the tour from the colosseum, the most famous anfitheatre in the world where i'll explain you how the games with gladiators and animals worked and how was the entartainment 2000 years ago. After that we'll visit the area of the forum, the real centre of ancient roman life where everything happened:market, senat house, temples, basilicas. After a break for lunch we'll move to the vatican, a country within a country, the smallest country in the world and we'll visit the vatican museums basically the apartments where the popes used to live from the late 1400 to the late 1700 and then the fantastic sistine chapel, the private chapel of the Popes, the chapel of the conclave with its worldwide famous fresco paintings made by Michelangelo, then we'll visit st. Peter's basilicaand st. Peter's square, the centre of Christianity since 2000 years. After the tour the driver will drive you back to the port.
