From being young I have always had a passion for Art and the way some special people expressed themselves through it: music, archaeology, history, architecture, poetry and literature have always been my favourite subjects. All of this gives me today a deeper comprehension of the works in museums and a great joy at sharing it with people. After eighteen years as a licensed guide, showing museums, art collections and churches in Rome, I still enjoy sharing what I have learnt and I do not mind customizing tours according to clients requests. This work gives me the opportunity to meet many people from different backgrounds: I have lectured for National Geographic and Smithsonian, I tought Renaissance and Baroque Art for an american university in Rome, I lead tours for Roman groups and for tourists and I am not yet tired! All of this makes me strongly believe to have chosen the best work possible in the most beautiful city in the world: Rome! Art History graduate from Università La Sapienza di Roma Licensed tour guide of Rome If my calendar seems full, don’t hesitate to contact me anyway. I may still be able to accommodate you. I can organize private transportation by private car and driver. Please note that I provide pick-up and drop-off at the hotel or port only through the driver. I will meet you directly at the designated meeting point. For easy communication on the day of the tour, I suggest downloading WhatsApp on your smartphone

All over the world the Colosseum is the best know building in Rome. Movies and stories, legends and archaeological researches enhance the charm of this amazing amphitheater. There's a lot to be said about this building, starting with its inauguration in the summer of 80 A. D. up to our days, focusing on emperors, gladiators, animal fights that this building went through. But in order to have a 360° view of Roman History, the tour has a second part in the Roman Forum, the institutional district, and the Palatine Hill. Although some buildings are very ruined the feeling of the political, religious and economic role this valley had is still very strong. At the end or beginning of the tour (depends on the start time) we will go to discover a fantastic part of Rome: the undergrounds of St. Clement's Basilica a secret place, hiding a source of water and many stories that I can't wait to tell you! This is a complete tour on ancient Rome that will make you understand and discover a lot of the my beloved city!
