Hello! My name is Clara and I'm a tour guide, officially licensed by the Regione Sicilia. After earning my University degree in Art History, and spending a few years in Rome and Barcelona working within the field of Contemporary Art, I returned to Palermo where I was born and raised. For the last two years I have worked as a Freelance Tour Guide and in the process discovered a magical mix: a use of my talents, knowledge of art history, architecture and Italian culture, a love for Sicily and Sicilian culture, and a desire to share amazing experiences with outsiders. I chose a career that gratifies me and strengthens my love for my homeland every day! Like many of my clients, I am also an insatiable traveler, so I find it easy to step into the shoes of someone visiting Sicily for the first time (or even the second or third!) I always offer my clients an opportunity to see Sicily through my eyes and live my passions with me. I love art, architecture, history and good food (and we have TONS of good food in Sicily!!). We had a delightful three hour tour with Clara through the bustling streets of Palermo. She talked us through the history of the city with a light touch!
