Full day tour from Palermo to Segesta, Erice and the Trapani Saltpans

We travelled with a group of four and booked Giorgio for two back to back days. The first day we went east of Palermo to Cefalù and the second west to the archeological sites. This tour is physically more demanding as there are many hikes up uneven terrain. That said, the sites seen were amazing in both their physical condition and historical significance. Georgio did a wonderful job of explaining the significance of the sites and in providing great insight into the island’s history as a Mediterranean cross road! A trip well worth doing with an incredibly knowledgeable guide.

Giorgio was an excellent and very knowledgeable guide. He knew everything about the history and architecture of our trip. We would definitely recommend him.

Our licensed guide and driver, Giorgio Calò was an excellent driver and guide. We had such a marvelous day with Giorgio, during which he provided us with a wealth of information on the fascinating history of the area. Giorgio’s English is excellent and he is a warm and personable guide. Giorgio is also an excellent, considerate and safe driver, something we have not always found in our travels.

Giorgio was knowledgeable, friendly and informative, providing us historical and cultural insights into issues as diverse as ancient Greek architecture and mores of medieval Erice. All of us learned a great deal about the Elymian-Greek civilization in Sgesta, and as well as medieval history, culture and religious issues. We very much enjoyed the tour and gained a great deal of information and understanding from Giorgio.
