I deeply love my country and I have always tried to instill this love in my fellow travelers. When I am guiding, my first aim is to go beyond stereotypes regarding Sicily and try to explain how rich is the Sicilian Culture thanks to the many people that have passed through the centuries and left signs of their own societies. You can find those traces in our monumental heritage but also in our language, in our habits and finally in our cuisine. In the meanwhile, I obtained a degree in Cultural tourism at the University of Palermo, deepening history, art history, archaeology and Sicilian folklore. When I am not touring Sicily with travellers, I am doing that with my friends! Overview of your Palermo tour

An entire day of excursion in the area of Madonie Mountains. Nice drive along the coast from Palermo to Cefalu. Visit the majestic Norman Cathedral and explore the medieval old village stretching along the ancient megalithic walls and overlooking the Thyrrenian sea. Why not taste fresh fish on the terrace of one of the many renowned local restaurants? In the afternoon leave the sea towards the Madonie Mountains to visit the gateway village of Castelbuono dominated by the medieval Castle. Taste local pastries based on "Manna" (ash sap). I have been guiding this tour for more than 10 years and it is one of the preferred by my fellow travellers!

We travelled with a group of four and booked Giorgio for two back to back days. The first day we went east of Palermo to Cefalù and the second west to the archeological sites. Giorgio was fantastic!!! We all enjoyed his descriptions and interaction with us. One member of our group was into photography. He made a point of taking us to some very scenic places and provided incredible, in depth history of the places we visited. If we make it back to Sicily, we would certainly use him again to see the east side of the island! If you can book him, do so, you will not regret it.
