Palermo and Monreale in 1 Day - Full Day Tour

Thank you, Mauro for the most beautiful tour of out entire trip out of three countries! I am so lucky and grateful for you and your kindness and knowledge of many aspects of your culture, including cathedrals, art museums, food and drink, and also being very respectful and caring of my mom, who is 80. I also appreciate how the tour could be customized to our liking. It felt like taking a stroll in beautiful Monreale and Palermo with an old friend, not rushed, but truly given time to take in the beauty and incredible history of this island. I also like how positive you were and even in mentioning some sad events such as a priest that was killed from the Mafia, but how you focused on the positive things like how he helped children to find a better life. I will always remember you and this trip and hope one day to come back and explore more. Thanks for everything! You are a gift!

Mauro, Was a great guide. He showed us things and took us to explore places that were very interesting and not on any typical tourist agenda guide-book. We had great conversations about Palermo's history (all sides) and it left us with a much better understanding of the people and culture. He is also a art historian from the ancient masters in the churches to the most modern art in some off-beat museums. You will enjoy Mauro. Jimmy P

Wow what a wonderful Cathedral and revealed and explained so wonderfully by Mauro. We were all blown away by this tour - a must visit - Mauro's indent knowledge of every fact was superb. Mauro was the perfect guide to our first day in Sicily. He was professional, passionate about Palermo and well organized. We started day by reviewing the planned itinerary with options to add things we wanted to see. Started tour at Palazzo Butera an amazing museum. Originally we had wished for street food but a quiet pasta lunch was best suggestion! Monreale Cathedral was amazing & the perfect highlight of afternoon. At end we visited Palermo Massimo, Mauro assured we were good to get back to our hotel.
