Overview of your Palermo tour
Sciacca, a town overlooking the sea which in the ancient copy of Roman Map "Tabula Peuntigeriana" is shown as the biggest in Sicily. It's my home town and I will show it to you through the eyes, voices and hands of its coral and ceramic artisans and the taste of its typical desserts. Here, where thermal springs have bubbled from the earth for millennia, ancient traditions blend seamlessly with the Mediterranean breeze, creating a living tapestry of Sicilian culture that has enchanted visitors since Roman times. Your Palermo tour itinerary
I will meet you at the agreed-upon location in Palermo and with our private van we'll make our way to Sciacca. Our route will be as follows: - trip to Sciacca (1h30); - Ova Murina tasting: authentic breakfast with the traditional cannolo lookalike dessert; - Borgo delle Maestranze tour: the historic artisan quarter with its traditional ceramic and coral workshops; - Seafront restaurant: seaside lunch featuring the freshest catch of the day and local meat, vegetarian, vegan Sicilian specialties; - Mount Kronio panoramic viewpoint: a relaxing stop to enjoy the scientific, mythological and religious history of Mount Kronio; - Enchanted Castle: visit to this unique sculpture park carved from stones and even some olive trees; - Transfer back to Palermo. This tour includes an Ova Murina (included) and a stop for lunch (cost not included in tour price).
