Hello everyone and welcome to this beautiful land of astonishing architecture, great food and warmth atmosphere. My name is Sacha, I am a licensed tour guide and I will be more than happy to help you discover the hidden treasures of this region. I have always been passionate about travelling, art and different languages and cultures. That's the reason why I have studied foreign languages and history of art. After my Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage in Venice, I moved to Bologna where I got my Master's degree in History of art. That's when I have decided to turn my main interests into my job and became an Emilia-Romagna tour guide. My idea of tour is to get you in touch with the local spirit and culture of this land. I will share with you the history and the artistic heritage of this beautiful cities, as well as its typical laid back lifestyle, without forgetting the amazing gastronomic tradition. I am glad to personalise my tours focusing on what you are more interested in. You will be spoiled for choices! - National tour guide license - Master's degree in History of art - Bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage I am not a driver. I can accompany you in your vehicle or I can arrange for a separate car and driver.

Some of Italy's most extraordinary culinary traditions are still produced exclusively within a remarkably small area of Emilia-Romagna. For centuries, the knowledge and craftsmanship behind these iconic products have been passed down from generation to generation, earning this region the well-deserved nickname of Italy's Food Valley. Join me on a journey to discover the authentic world of Parmigiano Reggiano and Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena DOP, before ending the day with a visit to a renowned Lambrusco winery, where you'll enjoy the wine that has accompanied Emilia's cuisine for generations, together with a light lunch featuring local specialties
Meet in Bologna and drive to the countryside of Emilia. • Early morning visit to a traditional Parmigiano Reggiano dairy. Learn how this world-famous cheese is produced, observe some of the most fascinating stages of the cheesemaking process, explore the aging rooms and enjoy a guided tasting of three different maturations. • Visit to a traditional acetaia producing Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena DOP. Discover why authentic traditional balsamic vinegar is so different from commercial versions, visit the aging lofts and enjoy a guided tasting. • Guided visit to a prestigious Lambrusco winery (typically Chiarli), where you'll discover the history of Emilia's signature sparkling red wine. • Wine tasting accompanied by a light lunch featuring carefully selected local specialties. • Return to Bologna in the early afternoon.

Please let me know whether you'll be traveling with your own rental car or if you'd like me to arrange private transportation. As the producers are located in the countryside, guests without a rental car will need a private driver. This service costs approximately €360 for the day (final price to be confirmed) and is paid directly to the driver. Please feel free to contact me for further details.
