- At 10 a.m., a private car and driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Sanctuary dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, located on a hill near Bologna and featuring the longest portico in the world. - After this first stop, you’ll have the chance to see Bologna from above. From the square in front of the Church of San Michele in Bosco, you can enjoy the most panoramic view of Bologna. - The third stop will be for one of the best gelatos in Bologna in one of my favorite gelato shops along the way where you will taste two scoops of a wonderful gelato; - And right after, with just a few steps on foot, we’ll visit the heart of the city: the majestic Piazza Maggiore. - The tour will end with a visit to the University area and a hidden market where students and locals go to buy their food for a visit and tasting of some local specialties. -At last, you'll be driven back to your lodging.
