Hi Everyone, nice to meet you! I'm Cecilia and I live in Bologna (northern Italy) with my family, where I've been a licensed Tour Manager since 2016. I've studied accounting and worked in corporations' offices for more than 30 years, but I love traveling and meeting people of different cultures. Hence, on my fifties, I decided to change my life and do what I've always loved doing for my friends when they come to Italy to meet me: have fun together going around here! I'm very empathetic and love to establish friendly relationships with all my travelers. I always keep in mind my favorite quote from Maya Angelou: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel. " I love to offer tourists authentic experiences in my region, trying to make the most of their time here and customizing their itineraries per request! My tours are mainly focused on food and wine because Emilia Romagna is the land of gastronomy, and also, I like cooking, eating well, and choosing the best products to prepare all my dishes! I can't wait to show you around Emilia Romagna! Accountancy Degree and Import/Export & Marketing Master's Degree. Vast experience traveling around Italy, Europe, the USA, Canada, Asia, and South America. Professional Tour Manager with almost a decade of experience. - I'm not an art guide so in case you want to go deeply into the art of this area, it'd be best to go with another professional. - Private cars and professional car drivers are available depending on the number of people and the service required.

Emilia is famous for good food and speed cars, but what about Romagna? Have you ever been there? Romagna is part of a region still rather unknown to many tourists. Only Bolognese people spend most of their summertime weekends here, relaxing by the sea. In fact, on the Adriatic coast, it's possible to go to one of hundreds of beach clubs, rent an umbrella or a sunbed, order a fresh drink or something to eat and either sunbathe laying down all day or dive into the water if it's too hot! One of my favorite places in Romagna is Rimini. An ancient Roman city where it's still possible to find a Roman bridge, and several important Roman monuments, learn something about the famous art director Federico Fellini and take a walk on the long beach! In just a 30 min drive from there, you'd reach the fifth-smallest microstate in the world, the Independent Republic of San Marino, a fantastic village on a rock at 700m high, where with only €5 you can get a tourist visa on your passport! Let's go! Customizable itinerary:
·Our tour will start by picking you up from your accommodation in Bologna in a Mercedes Benz van with a private driver or Citroen C4 Spacetourer car. ·In short of 2 hours, we'll reach a different country, the independent State of San Marino. ·On arrival, we'll start with a walking tour around its narrow streets, visiting: -The Palace of the Independent Government -The church of Saint Marin -A panoramic path we'll walk across to see the 3 ancient towers. If you like shopping, this is the right place to make a deal because regular Italian taxes aren't added to the products! ·At lunchtime, we'll be heading to the city of Rimini for a good "piadina" (a typical local street food) which can be filled with cold cuts/fish. ·We'll walk along ancient Emilia Street, discovering: -The Roman Bridge -San Giuliano district -Sigismondo Castle and main square -Augustus Arch ·Before returning to Bologna in the late afternoon, we'll stop at one of the many "beach clubs" on Rimini's Long Beach for a good coffee.
