Overview of your Chania tour
Discover the White Mountains of Crete with me: Follow me as I show you the highest peaks of our island and drive you through a historic gorge of impeccable beauty. As a professional historian, I present to you the history of Crete as I drive on an ascending road, reaching an elevation of 1600 meters while guiding you through Crete's past, present, and future. I will then take you to the entrance of Samaria Gorge, one of the longest and most beautiful hiking trails in Europe. We make multiple photo stops for unforgettable memories to understand the scale of our region. Later, I will show you a one-of-a-kind traditional Cretan tavern, where we will meet local villagers and eat whatever is on today's menu. A family of Cretan shepherds owns this local tavern. While eating, i will disclose to you the treasures of Crete: Olive oil, Honey, Wine are the major agricultural products for you to taste, prior of me showing you a private fruit farm picking fresh fruits for our journey back to town!
