Your Heidelberg tour itinerary I invite you to join me on a journey through time from the Middle Ages to present day. Our Heidelberg story begins with breathtaking views of the ruined castle. We will travel up to the castle easily by cable car where we will see: • Battery Park and Deer Moat - where the electors enjoyed hunting • Elisabeth Gate and the Hortus Palatinus - the 8th wonder of the world • Castle Courtyard - with the famed Ottheinrichsbuilding • German Pharmacy Museum • The Big Barrel - with an incredible 60, 000 gallons, the largest wine barrel in the world . . and in town Iet me invite you to a cup of hot mulled wine before we visit historical sites such as: • Market Square and Hercules Statue • Heiliggeist Church • Old Bridge and Bridge Monkey • Student Jail (outside only) • Martin Luther Memorial Site We will visit 4 Xmas markets as we walk thru the Old Town and simply have a good time with mulled wine, sweats, Bratwurst and others.
