Plus visit some charming Castle ruins. Our destination is Dilsberg, a quaint historic village located on a scenic hilltop. Explore the 12th Century Castle Ruin and enjoy amazing panoramic views of the surrounding Odenwald Forest and miles Southwards. There is also an amazing chocolate shop Then we will cross over the river to Neckar Steinach, known as the, 'Town of 4 Castles'. This pretty little town, right on the banks of the River Neckar, is special for having 4 Castles. 2 of them are ruins which we can inspect first-hand and learn about their old history. The town also has delightful little local museum and a first-class tea shop. Just a pleasant 20 minute drive up the River from Heidelberg this tour is an easy-going and fun half-day or day excursion. A great way to get out of the city and explore the local area and see 'real Germany'.
