What to Expect: I will pick you up directly at your port in Speyer – whether at the Viking ship dock or another disembarkation point. From there, you set the course. My driver and I will follow your lead as we visit any location of your choosing within a 100 km radius of Heidelberg – the very region where your family once lived. We travel to Heidelberg to explore its magnificent castle and uncover 500 years of history and architecture, brought to life in an engaging and entertaining way. After lunch and a relaxed walking tour through Heidelberg's medieval quarter, we head back to your ship. Time permitting, we'll round off the day with a visit to Speyer Cathedral – the largest Romanesque cathedral in Europe.
