The Baden wine region is one of Germany's best kept secrets. Nearly 400 km in length it is the longest of Germany's 13 wine regions. That is why it is divided up into 9 sub - regions. The Kaiserstuhl & The Ortenau being the best & most famous and where we will focus on in this tour. As the hottest part of all Germany Baden produces an impressive array of both red & white wines. And the vineyards & wineries are located in some of the prettiest countryside & charming villages in the whole country. On this tour we will visit a selection of the region's best wineries & learn what makes their wine special. Such as Dr. Heger winery in Ihringen, Bercher winery in Vogtsburg & the Castle & some of the 17 wineries of Durbach, the most beautiful village in all of Baden. Plus we will enjoy the beautiful landscapes, many quaint Black Forest villages and find out why Baden has the best cuisine in all Germany.
