Please join me in the atmospheric location of the Heidelberg Castle wine cellar where we will try some fine wines from the local region. Including some excellent local Reisling's and some surprisingly good German red wine. Inspired by the presence of the largest wine barrel in the world, we will sample a collection of excellent German wines from the Pfalz, Baden and Rhein Hessen in the Castle's very own wine cellar. We will also learn about some of Germany's 16 wine growing areas. After enjoying the wines we will take a tour of the Castle and Garden.
Meet at the Heidelberg Castle. Tour of the Castle Courtyard and learning about it's 600 year history. Private Wine tasting in the Castle wine cellar with expert sommelier. Viewing of the biggest Wine barrell in the world. Enjoy wonderful views of Heidelberg and the whole Rhine Valley from the Castle's Grand Balcony. Tour of the Amazing Castle Garden. (Optional)
