Overview of your Heidelberg tour
Together we stroll through the enchanted gardens of Schwetzingen Palace, the summer residence of Karl Theodor, Marquis de Kurpfalz. Schwetzingen has been my hometown for over 50 years, and the very first tour I arranged for my classmates to these palace gardens was at the age of seven. Past temples, grottos, artificial lakes and bridges, we immerse ourselves in the exquisite lifestyle of Baroque royalty. Learn more about the stories and gossip about the Marquis and his mistresses that my grandmother told me. We may even find out the truth of one of our own stories as we cross a bridge that can detect lies.

- We meet at the "Schlossplatz" before entering the palace gardens - Extensive walk around the temples, lakes and buildings, including the only 'garden mosque' left in Europe! The garden is a prime example of Baroque garden architecture and is a delight with its manicured masterpieces of floral art. - We finish the tour at a typical local cafe.
