Wine Tour of the Pfalz.

On this Tour we drive into the heart of Germany's most famous and important wine region - The Pfalz. The scenic "Weinstrasse" (wine road) is an 80km long road, starting on the French border, that disects the beautiful vineyards of this region. Our main destination will be the charming old village of Deiesheim. Here the main Street is full of traditional 'Weingute"(wineries)where one can soak up the long history of wine-making and of course try the excellent wines. The Reislings from this area are particularly highly valued and considered among the very best in the world. But Each vineyard has a wide assortment of wines, both red & white, so that every palate and personal preference will be satisfied. There's also a good collection of restaurants in the village where one can enjoy some of the fine local cuisine 'al fresco' in an atmospheric courtyard of a wine estate.
