Hi, I am Martin, a local Croatian guy, born and living here for 45 years with my wife and 3 kids. I am not only a passionate guide, but also an adventurous traveler. Born in Zagreb, I lived here all my life, but as my mother is from the island of Brač, just across Split, I am used to traveling with my family from the early childhood. When I became a tour guide I used to spend my Summers in Dubrovnik and Split. Today, as I do a lot of multi day tours in different destinations from Budapest in Hungary, to Budva in Montenegro, the only accurate description would be that I live in many towns at the same time. Before I became a guide, I was a high school teacher, a journalist on TV, newspaper and radio, waiter or even a company owner. Due to my rich and dynamic professional career spanning from realestate agent to producer of fruit juices and liqueurs, but also through traveling as a tour guide, I have contacts and friends all over Croatia and this region. What I love about being a tour guide is that this job enables me to meet interesting people from all over the world and to find out how they live and what drives them. I love that it enables me to keep traveling and spending a lot of time in the nature. I am also studying History of Adriatics and Mediterranean in Dubrovnik and I am happy and proud when I can present the beauties of my country and to explain its history, its present and the processes that shaped it in the way it is now.
