"Dobrodosli" - Welcome friends! Ever since I could remember I've always wanted to travel all over the globe. . . . and now I became an untiring traveler and travels became my life! Since then on, I have been visiting most of the world, its oceans, and seas, islands, mountains and volcanoes, deserts, jungles, remote tribes, etc. Among all world's gems, I might also point out the region where I live - the Balkan peninsula. It provides so many beauties and diversities concentrated in a small place that is difficult to find anywhere else in the world. Untouched and charming Mediterranean coast with thousands of islands, Alps mountain range, biggest caves, lovely castles, ancient remains, natural wonders, the mixture of different religions, civilized and primitive people, modern and old, a touch of Orient and its culture, pleasant weather, perfect gastronomy, . . . I do tirelessly discover these hidden pearls of our small Balkan paradise every year. I just simply love it! In my tours, you will not just visit the country as everyone do, but feel and enjoy every single tour differently with decades of my own experiences. So my friends, are you ready to touch the deepness of our Balkan and its unique cultures? I possess a valid tourist guide license for all EU countries. The world is my home and I spend half of the year working abroad every year as a tour guide for almost three decades. There are only a few countries I have not been visited, thus I have the privilege to combine the knowledge and experiences from almost everywhere in the world. Zagorje is a rural, green, hilly, and wine region in the North, home of many beautiful castles and old traditional mud-wooden houses. This is the green area of rolling hills, topped with numerous medieval castles and remote villages. Its highlight is Trakoscan castle with its lake. It is the most romantic and beautiful, most visited and best-preserved castle in Croatia. The ethnographic village of Kumrovec (birthplace of TITO), the lovely art village of Klanjec with its famous Croats, and a monument to Croatian Anthem located within the smallest natural park are just a few more remarkable spots on our journey. The area of Zagorje is my mother's homeland and I am a big fan/ discoverer about this region. On this day trip from Zagreb, you will not miss tasty local gastronomy delights, great photo opportunities, and lovely stories from the past towards modern time, as I grew up with them and I would love to share them with you. Do not miss it while staying in Zagreb.

Senad is able to understand the needs of tourists, and he is immediately adjust iteniary to meet expectations. Our day of traveling to the north was super fun. We enjoy every minutes of our trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Trakoscan Castle, in spite of an unexpected snowstorm (about 20 cm, I think). Senad dealt with the weather well, and provided us with a nice tour.
Good tour through a lovely part of Croatia. Senad took us through the castle himself and gave fascinating commentary. Then afterward we were allowed a half hour to walk around the man made lake below the castle. It was interesting and we got some amazing photographs. From there we went to a restaurant on top of a hill for lunch, and both the food and the views were amazing.
Senad was always responsive to my questions and requests prior to the tour by e-mail, was prompt in picking us up at our hotel and gave us a thoroughly delightful tour designed around what we wanted to see. We really enjoyed the varied sites we visited, including the Zagreb Cemetery, Trakoscan Castle (beautiful!), the Neanderthal Museum in Krapina and a delightful Winery where we enjoyed lunch, terrific views and a wine tasting. Senad is a real professional and we enjoyed his expertise and his company!!
Senad was a great correspondent and resource before we even selected our tours, providing loads of helpful advice. As a guide, he was very enthusiastic and made sure we had a good experience. Trakoscan Castle was fascinating, and the walk around the lake was beautiful. Our luncheon and wine tasting at a local winery/guest house was memorable....beautiful setting, good food and wines, nice people and gorgeous sunshine. It's a day we'll remember!
Senard was a fantastic guide for the 4 of us who had a day-trip out of Zagreb to see Trakoscan Castle, eat a Croatian countryside lunch, and visit the Neanderthal Museum. It was a delightful day because of Senard. He was prompt, flexible, knowledgeable, and lots of fun. He gave great recommendations about how to schedule our day, and helped us rearrange as time went by. His English was excellent, and he was attentive to make sure we were happy. We've already recommended him to friends. He's that good.
