Ljubljana & Postojna Cave or Bled Lake Tour

Our group enjoyed the tour of Lake Bled and Ljubljana. Lake Bled is very scenic, our guide suggested we go to the castle instead of the boat ride which was a good idea. We did a self tour of the castle, most of our time at Lake Bled was without our guide, Rafaella. In Ljubljana we had more time with our guide and learned a bit about the capital of Slovenia. Rafaella was very nice and easy to talk with. Our van was very comfortable for the long ride to and from central Slovenia. The van arrived on time and we were done as expected late in the day. I would say that we expected to get more proactive information from our guide. Rafaella was more than willing to answer our questions during our two hours ride to Lake Bled. What we learned on this portion of the day was limited to what we knew to ask about. She helped us with the lay of the land at Lake Bled but then we were left to ourselves. We walked around Ljubljana and she provided some insight to the layout of the city and where we could eat, pointed out some of the historic buildings. We were then left to eat lunch and shop. We were glad we made the trip but this group was just leaving a 14 day Road Scholars Tour where we got a lot of teaching. I guess we expected to learn more than we did.

I really enjoyed this tour. They were both wonderful. I really like hanging out with them on this tour. They were very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this tour.

Our tour ran very smoothly and Rafaella provided lots of good information for us. In addition she gave us guidance on how to get around the city on Sunday when we don't have a tour. We enjoyed very much talking with her while we were traveling to Slovenia. If you need a tour guide choose Rafaella.

Rafaella is a wonderful tour guide...so friendly and caring. Speaks perfect English. Great communication before trip. Highly recommend!

Fantastic Day in Ljubljana and Lake Bled. Rafaella planned the perfect tour for me including experiencing local Slovenian Food and Drink. Rafaella was so on top of things she even made sure i had all the proper documents to enter Slovenia. I cant recommend Rafaella enough. She is so conscientious and made sure i was having a great time. Such an incredible day ! thanks again Ella!

Very professional and fun tour guide and Driver. Ella was great. They stayed in constant communication prior to pick up and were on time. Friendly and funny and most of all they assured the day was to our liking. Not rushed at all. They even let us start an hour later since we got in late on our arrival flight and needed a little extra sleep. Definitely recommend. Cave and Ljubljana were an excellent day trip from Zagreb.
