With a population of 300, 000, Ljubljana is one of the smallest capitals in Europe. It is also one of Europe's greenest and most livable capitals. Just an hour and a half from Zagreb, Ljubljana is a perfect place for a day trip. Join me on this tour and enjoy strolling through the streets of this charming city. Besides Ljubljana, you can choose between a visit to Postojna Cave OR Bled Lake. Visiting all locations in one day would be too exhausting and the tour would end late at night. Postojna Cave: In 1872, cave rails were laid along with the first cave train for tourists. At first, these were pushed along by the guides themselves, at the beginning of the 20th century, a gas locomotive was introduced. About 5. 3 kilometers (3. 3 mi) of the cave system are open to the public. Bled Lake: With its emerald-green lake, picturesque church on an islet, a medieval castle clinging to a rocky cliff, and some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps as backdrops, Bled is Slovenia's most popular resort.

Fantastic Day in Ljubljana and Lake Bled. Rafaella planned the perfect tour for me including experiencing local Slovenian Food and Drink. Rafaella was so on top of things she even made sure i had all the proper documents to enter Slovenia. I cant recommend Rafaella enough. Very professional and fun tour guide and Driver. Ella was great. They stayed in constant communication prior to pick up and were on time. Friendly and funny and most of all they assured the day was to our liking. Not rushed at all. They even let us start an hour later since we got in late on our arrival flight and needed a little extra sleep. Definitely recommend. Cave and Ljubljana were an excellent day trip from Zagreb.
