Hello, My name is Hrvoje Dario. I'm of the Northern Croatia, and local of Zagreb and Varazdin. I've been working as a tour guide for a number of years now, guiding to every part of Croatia, as well as other countries in the region, such as Bosnia, Slovenia, Montenegro, and Austria. Beside stories and information, the four things I put the highest emphasis when guiding travelers are safety, respect, care and comfort. Travelers should always feel safe and comfortable, while being treated with care and respect. Being a traveler myself, I am well aware of the significance of a travel and the effect it has on us and those around us. In my free time I like to read, write, go to nature, visit interesting places, reading articles and books on history, psychology, anthropology, meditation, astronomy, sustainability. My travels have so far taken me across five continents; some journeys being in the Middle East, the Americas, South and Southeast Asia, North Africa, Europe etc. Beside having various other benefits, such travels have also exposed me to the work of international tour guides, which gave me insights into improving my own guiding tours. It is important to me that the travelers I guide feel relaxed and enjoy every moment of it, and to have a memorable experience. I also aim that you experience my country not just as a tourist, but rather to see how things are here, to get an understanding of its everyday life, and perhaps to even feel like a local. If you are interested in coming to Croatia and explore it with a guide, feel free to contact me. I've finished tour guide course and am licensed to guide in Varazdin and Zagreb counties as a tour guide, and all over Croatia and surrounding countries as a tour leader. I've specialized in tourism branch by finishing the Zagreb School of Management (current VERN) back in 2007.

Slovenia is known for its beautiful landscapes, charming towns and villages, and its majestic mountains. This Alpine region of Europe is a magnificent example of how the touch of nature can uplift and inspire the travelers who search for spending time in amazing natural environments. My connection to this country goes far back, and I can attest to the fact that touring there brings joy to people. On this tour we visit the glacier Bled Lake, known for its crystalline waters and the island with an old church on it. It's a wonderful experience to walk around it and enjoy watching the activities on the lake and the Kamniske Alps in the background. Besides the Lake, we also visit the capital city of Slovenia, Ljubljana, a city known for its gorgeous historical area with Ljubljanica river flowing through it. NOTE: If instead of Ljubljana you would like to spend more time in nature, this tour can be modified so that we visit places such as the Vintgar gorge, or do a light hike in the Alps).
This tour starts from where you are staying in Zagreb. - After arriving to Slovenian capital, we will explore its city center. We will see many famous bridges, such as Cobbler's bridge, Butcher bridge, Triple bridge, the Medieval part of town, the Robba's fountain, Cathedral of St. Nicholas, the Market etc. - Ljubljana is a gorgeous town with Ljubljanica river flowing through it. - After Ljubljana we go to town Bled where the famous Lake Bled is. The lake is a famous attraction on European scale, and for the good reason! It is a glacier lake, pure, and in the summer months inviting to jump in. From there we will also see a great view of the Bled castle and the Kamniske Alps. - Depending on weather or traffic condition, we may do first Bled and later Ljubljana. Lunch when hungry in one of the great restaurants of Ljubljana or Bled. In the afternoon, we will go back to Zagreb, to the place of departure.
