Land of the falling lakes, a full day-trip to Plitvice
Overview of your Zagreb tour
During this one-day excursion, we're off to explore one of the world's most stunning national parks - Plitvice Lakes. This richly forested reserve is adorned with 16 glistening lakes that flow into one another via a spectacular series of waterfalls and cascades. We'll tour the park's most exquisite areas and more, all tailored according to your preferences. En route to Plitvice, we'll pause briefly in the quaint village of Rastoke. Here, I'll introduce you to yet another enchanting spot in Croatia. As a licensed guide for the National Park, I consider myself fortunate to spend significant time in this natural wonderland. I'm familiar with virtually every corner of the park, including the prime locations for capturing breathtaking photographs. Post exploration, we'll return to Zagreb, with an optional stop for a meal at a local restaurant in a nearby village.

The trip to Plitvice lakes was great, wonderful walk and impressive scenery with great company. So much easier going with a local, he knew the short cuts, where to sit on the boat to get the best views and knew the best walkways to get the most impressive scenery and photo shots. He took us to a local restaurant afterwards so we could sample some authentic dishes. Highly recommended day

Your Zagreb tour itinerary
- We'll meet in the morning at your hotel/accommodation in Zagreb. - Hop aboard in a tour vehicle and a journey to Plitvice Lakes National park can start. Relax and enjoy 2 hours drive to Plitvice. - Short 30min break after 90min drive in Rastoke village. - After arrival at Plitvice lakes, I will explain to You route We're going to take, I'll make sure to show You the best spots for pictures, tell You stories and legends and of course I'll assist You with taking some photos of You if You wish as well. - We will spend approximately 2 to 4 hours inside the park. - I will take You through some of the most scenic parts of the park, besides walking You are going to enjoy a panoramic boat ride across Kozjak lake as well (Boat is not operating in case of bad weather conditions). - After a guided tour of the park, we'll hop aboard our tour vehicle and head back towards Zagreb with a possible lunch break in a village nearby. Private tours are totally tailored to You.
