Hi everyone! I see you are looking at my profile. That's a good start :) Let me introduce myself. You can say that I practically derive from tourism. For the last 16 years I have been actively working as a licensed local guide, driver-guide, receptionist and certified adventure guide (kayaking, hiking and cycling). In addition I have studied tourism and got my masters degree in the same field. This job is giving me the freedom to create unique experiences, for myself and for all of my clients and business partners. My tours are very much a reflection of me as a person. That means they are done in an amicable and relaxed way with a lot of laughter. All the lovely people I've had the chance to meet have joined me because they share the same enthusiasm and I see this as the main value of what makes my tours different. While working in tourism I had the honour to meet with wonderful people from all over the world that have enriched my life. All those experiences helped me understand what people really want and expect from their vacation. As the world is changing so is the needs for travel. Personally when I travel, I like to emerge myself into the life of the locals and get to know the culture. That is also my goal, to help you escape the generic tours and focus on experiences that really matter. My specialty are food and wine tours, hike tours, customized Plitvice Lakes tours, cultural day trips to Varaždin and Trakošćan castle, unique walking tours of Zagreb and of course tailor-made tours of entire Croatia. I use a car or a van for day trips of multi-day experiences. I simply love my country and I make sure that people who visit Croatia, experience it in the best possible way. Your Zagreb tour itinerary
Get picked up at your Zagreb accommodation in the late morning hours and embark on your private wine quest! While driving to the first stop, get to know your guide as well as regional history and tidbits. In 40 min you will reach Samobor, a small baroque town known for many things, but also a local specialty called kremšnita. A must try! While exploring Samobor, you will have the chance to hike to the ruins of the old town and enjoy a spectacular view of the surroundings. After Samobor you will embark on 30 min scenic drive to reach Plešivica. First stop will be a family run restaurant where you will try traditional soup and štrukli! Afterwards in a span of 2 hours you will try 9 premium wines accompanied by the homemade products prepared to you by the lovely hosts. Satisfaction assured :) On the way back to Zagreb (1 hour approx) there will be an optional visit to a small family run cheese farm. Arrival to Zagreb in the early evening hours and a well deserved rest :)
