On this day-trip, we are going to visit one of the most beautiful national parks in the world, Plitvice Lakes. 16 lakes which are divided into the Upper and Lower Lakes, spilling from the highest one to the lowest one creating numerous waterfalls which are going to leave You breathless. As a big nature lover and outdoor person, I've been to the Plitvice Lakes hundreds of times and I enjoy every single time there. I'll show You the best parts of it and totally tailor a tour to You, making sure You don't miss anything. On the way to Plitvice, we'll make a short stop in the small village Rastoke as well, where You'll have the chance to see another beautiful and magical place in Croatia. After the park, we're continuing our trip towards the South of Croatia and the biggest town in Dalmatia; Split with an optional stop for a lunch in a local restaurant. Your Zagreb tour itinerary
We'll meet in the morning at your accommodation in Zagreb. Hop aboard in a tour vehicle and a journey to Plitvice Lakes National park can start. - Relax and enjoy 2 hours drive to Plitvice. Short break 30 minutes before park in Rastoke village. - Short stop at Rastoke village (30min) - Drive from Rastoke village to Plitvice Lakes (30min) - Plitvice Lakes tour (3-hours): This is where we make a sightseeing plan, the park has numerous trails and we will make a perfect one for You depending on Your wishes & activity level. - Lunch break can be made inside of the park or we can make a lunch stop in a local restaurant on the way to Split - Drive from Plitvice Lakes to Split (approximately 150min) Tour is customizable to You, You can explore the park with a guide or You can have more freedom and do the sightseeing on Your own with my precise instructions.
