Beautiful Istria (Culture and History Tour)

In this tour, we will visit the biggest and the westernmost peninsula in Croatia - the region known as Istria. It is a wonderful land with much to see, but since we will only have a day, I decided to compile some of the most interesting sites in this lovely region. Suggested itinerary to see are the towns of Porec (with its UNESCO Euphrasian basilica from the 5th century AD), Rovinj (an incredible picturesque town with a church on top of the hill (St. Euphemica basilica), and finally a visit to Pula (known for being an important ancient Roman center, in which also stand the most preserved and the fourth-largest Roman amphitheater in the world). If you wish, this tour can be modified in order to visit Motovun and/or Brijuni National park, and a truffle huting in Istrian forest.
