Hi, fellow explorers! My name is Danijel, yes with a J in the name, but I am just you regular 'Daniel', us Croatians like to spell things our own way, but the pronunciation remains the same. I would be delighted if you joined me on one of my tours showcasing all the natural beauty and cultural diversity Dubrovnik-Neretva County has to offer. My main focus is on taking you further, showing you what else is there beyond the magic of the old city walls of Dubrovnik. It really is possible to visit a centuries old Roman temple, swim and kayak in a pristine clear river, eat frogs and eels, paddleboard in seven interconnecting lakes and finish the day off with a drink of your choice while gazing at dozens of kite surfers take to the horizon at sunset - all of that in one day and just an hour and a half away from Dubrovnik. Ever climbed your way down to the picture perfect beach by a rope? No? Thought so. But we can change that. All of my tours are fully customisable to your liking, preferences and abilities and are designed to be a mix of outdoor, cultural and culinary experience. I have your paddle boards, kayak, go pro sorted. Drone shots of you having the best time? - No problem. So get in touch, I am looking forward to welcoming you in Dubrovnik and helping you make great memories. Cheers! - Licensed tourist guide for Dubrovnik-Neretva county - MA in English Language and Literature - An avid traveller

This tour takes us to the western part of today’s Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the 77km long peninsula of Peljesac, which became part of the old Dubrovnik Republic back in 1333. Today, Peljesac is home to extraordinary wineries and oyster farms all cosily wrapped in breathtaking nature. On our way, we make Trsteno Arboretum our first stop and escape the heat in the shade of 465 different tree and plant varieties. We continue our journey towards the town of Ston, famous for its fortified walls and centuries old salt pans. Ston is my recommended lunch stop. Since oysters pair fantastically with wine, it is only natural to stop at one of the many wineries on Peljesac and try the native varieties such as the famous Dingac, Posip or Grk wines. We continue our drive through the iconic Dingac tunnel into the blue for the scenic ride down the southern slopes of Peljesac on the way to a small village called Zuljana to spend the rest of our day trip at the turquoise beach before heading back to Dubrovnik.
