Orientational Dubrovnik History Tour

Join me on the "History Tour" and explore the city of Dubrovnik with a local guide who was born and raised just outside the city walls. Dubrovnik History Tour is a combination of the Dubrovnik legends, Dubrovnik history, and local experience. Dubrovnik was it's own republic for almost 500 years and in this tour you will learn how the politics functioned in medieval times, why Dubrovnik was a "trading force" in its prime and what Dubrovnik offered to the world that we still use today. I will show you how Dubrovnik was built trough out the years and how everything that happened is reflected by the people today. You will also see how people live today, what gets us going, and what customs we still nourish today. Tour starts at Ploče gate in front of the Revelin fortress and it covers walking past by all major sites in the Old City, such as: • Franciscan and Dominican monastery • Stradun • Bell Tower • Sponza Palace • Porporela • Rector's Palace • Cathedral • St. Blase church and many others as well. Duration of the tour is approx. 1. 5-2 hours where you are more then welcome to ask question and I'll be happy to answer any of them.
