Hi, fellow explorers! My name is Danijel, yes with a J in the name, but I am just you regular 'Daniel', us Croatians like to spell things our own way, but the pronunciation remains the same. I would be delighted if you joined me on one of my tours showcasing all the natural beauty and cultural diversity Dubrovnik-Neretva County has to offer. My main focus is on taking you further, showing you what else is there beyond the magic of the old city walls of Dubrovnik. It really is possible to visit a centuries old Roman temple, swim and kayak in a pristine clear river, eat frogs and eels, paddleboard in seven interconnecting lakes and finish the day off with a drink of your choice while gazing at dozens of kite surfers take to the horizon at sunset - all of that in one day and just an hour and a half away from Dubrovnik. Ever climbed your way down to the picture perfect beach by a rope? No? Thought so. But we can change that. All of my tours are fully customisable to your liking, preferences and abilities and are designed to be a mix of outdoor, cultural and culinary experience. I have your paddle boards, kayak, go pro sorted. Drone shots of you having the best time? - No problem. So get in touch, I am looking forward to welcoming you in Dubrovnik and helping you make great memories. Cheers! - Licensed tourist guide for Dubrovnik-Neretva county - MA in English Language and Literature - An avid traveller

This tour could be nicknamed ‘a sensory overload tour’, since that’s what the Neretva River valley really is – it excites not only our eyes and ears, but also our palate with its unique cuisine. Frogs anyone? We’re heading west and making a quick stop at the southern end of the Peljesac Bridge, an architectural marvel that has recently and after years of waiting connected Croatian mainland by road. A village called Vid, on the grounds of an ancient Roman colony, is home to Narona Archaeological Museum on the site of a Roman temple. Just across the street from the museum in Vid there is a restaurant which is our lunch spot. Our next stop takes us to the Bacina Lakes, a group of seven freshwater lakes where we put our muscles to use with water activities or simply enjoy the breathtaking nature. Finally, we drive to the point where the Neretva flows into the Adriatic sea and marvel at the shallow waters where kitesurfers from all corners of the world gather to harness the favourable winds.
