This tour will take you to the most beautiful island of Korčula where I will show you the old town of Korčula - the birthplace of Marko Polo. As a local guide I will take you to his house and share with you interesting facts and stories about him being there. Before Korčula we will have a short stop in Ston, a little medieval town with the longest walls in Europe and the second-longest walls in the World. Did you know that? More yet, will drive through the biggest wine region with the best European wines until Orebić and from there by ferry towards Korčula. Korcula looks like Dubrovnik, but smaller, surrounded by the city walls and towers. It was built on small peninsula with many side alleys hiding many lovely restaurants with local food. The architecture was influenced by Venetians as the whole town was under the rule of Venice for many centuries. After the ferry to Orebić we will drive back to Dubrovnik with a toilet and coffee stop or wine tasting along the way. I can give you my recommendations!
