Hi, my name is Sonja ! I am a local tour guide for Dubrovnik , Croatia. I am born and raised in this lovely city and it will be my pleasure to tell you all about it. I have spent most of my life here, growing up , going to school and working here and starting my own family. I finished high school in Grand Haven, MI, USA and then I came back for college in Croatia. Enjoy an excursion around the Konavle Valley, the beautiful Croatian countryside south of Dubrovnik, with visits to the town of Cavtat, the Stone Mill, and the Srd mountain for stunning views of Dubrovnik. Leave Dubrovnik in the morning and enjoy a panoramic drive up to Srd mountain where you will get stunning views of Dubrovnik Old City and the Lokrum island from above. I will make sure to get some great photographs from here. The ancient, seaside town of Cavtat, the largest urban center of the Konavle valley, where you can see the remnants of the Greek and Roman rule. Enjoy a stroll on the pretty "Riva" that spreads throughout green pine and cypress trees or stop for a coffee and embrace the seaside breeze. Then, visit the one-of-a-kind mlin (stone mill) and experience the village life of the Konavle region. Stop for lunch here if you wish and try traditional homemade cuisine while learning about old fashioned amenities!
