Hi there, my name is Ivo and I'm the one that will take care of you while spending a great time in Dubrovnik. To start off with, I've been a licensed guide for several years now and my experience says that the city itself is doing most of my job: whether it's the astonishing architecture of this unique UNESCO World Heritage site, the rich history or the many opportunities it bares. Another thing that makes my profession so easy is that I don't look at it as a job. It's more like a holiday I take with people from all over the world in the city I live. So it happens that I am the one knowing where to go and what to show. Not only as a local but as a traveller, I bring experience to the table. I've been in different countries in and outside Europe so I know what means trying to get the most out of a visit. My tours are focusing on Dubrovnik and its close surroundings. A classic are walking tours in Old Town. The city's over 1400 years history, from the founding through its golden age, over the homeland war up to today, offers many eras with fascinating stories to listen to. Dubrovnik's recent history is drawing much attention as well. Yugoslavia and the Homeland war between 1991 and 1995, still is an enigma for many people. So is the hype about the TV series, Game of Thrones". Given that I partecipated as an extra in the show, it is one of the best tours I offer. To tell you a little bit more about me, I have a master's degree in Media and Communication. My interests are widespread including history, religion, politics, culture and sports. I wrote earlier that I travelled some places, different continents, countries and cultures, always looking to fulfil one desire - to witness something great and experience something memorable. I'm sure you're looking for the same thing. Have a look at my tours and hopefully see you soon in Dubrovnik! Sincerely yours, Ivo - Official licensed tour guide for Dubrovnik-Neretva County - Member of Dubrovnik Tourist Guide Association

On this exclusive experience you not only visit stunning "Game of Thrones" filming locations but at the end you'll get the chance to take some memorable pictures on the Iron Throne. 3 hours packed with exciting history, funny background stories and a visit to the "Throne Room" where fantasy becomes reality! Visit places like "Blackwater Bay", enter the "Red Keep" and walk down the staircase of Cersei's walk of shame. Every location has a story to tell and offers amazing views. But to top it all off the big finale of the tour is waiting for you in a location in Old Town. For the last stop we take the ferry to Lokrum Island, which is just off the coast. The island was the setting for the city "Qarth" in season 2. But the highlight is the official "Iron Throne". It's located inside the Benedictine Monastery and waiting for its next ruler to sit on.
The tour starts from the meeting point in front of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board. A short walk to get to the first filming location which is known as „Blackwater Bay". Next we climb the staircase to Lovrijenac fortress to show you the inside of the „Red Keep". Enjoy beautiful views over Dubrovnik's Old Town and the Adriatic Sea. Afterwards it's time to enter the gates of „King's Landing". Many locations including the staircase of Cersei's Walk of Shame are waiting to be discovered. The last part of the tour takes place on Lokrum Island. In the "Throne Room" you can take photos on the Iron Throne. The tour ends on the island, which means you can spend some more time on Lokrum later if you want.
