Hello dear Travelers! My name is Nikolina, I live and work as a tour guide in Dubrovnik . For a couple of years I lived and worked in Italy. It was an amazing experience for me! Since I graduated Russian language & Linguistics at Zagreb University in 2003. I have been working as a tour guide in Dubrovnik. In 2006. I attended a course and obtained a license for a professional tour guide for Dubrovnik & Neretva County. For twenty years I guide different tours in English, Russian and Italian languages. I adore my job because every day is a challenge. I meet different people from different parts of the world and I have an opportunity to bring them closer so many things Dubrovnik has to offer. Dubrovnik has always been an amazing town and I'm sure that after the tour with a local guide You will agree with me. If You stay in Dubrovnik (or Cavtat) for a few days, there are many interesting places to visit. If You arrive with a cruise ship, tell me your preferences and length of your stay and I will suggest the best combination for you! That was the official part about me! Within the amazing city walls of Dubrovnik is a beautiful town. It's main street, called Stradun or Placa will surprise You at the same time with its originality and simplicity. On the main street are many sites, such as the Onofrio's Fountain, the Franciscan monastery, the former Monastery of St. Claire, the Sponza Palace, the Church of St. Blaise, the Clock tower. . . . Close to Stradun, You'll see the Rector's Palace, the Cathedral and many other interesting sites. If You visit the Old City in the morning hours, I'll take You to the market, where local people sell some of the traditional products and You will taste one of the local drinks - Travarica (herb brandy). Upon your request, the tour is possible to organize in the evening hours, when the city walls and shiny paved streets get a romantic note. It will be less crowded, and after the tour You can go for a drink or dinner in one of the small local restaurants.
Well, we "typically" only do private tours and our moments and memories with Nikolina stand out as one of the best. 1st class, informative + sincere. We left our tour enriched by the history of Dubrovnik and with a new fabulous friend. Ivica
Nikolina was absolutely fantastic. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She took us on a two hour tour of the old city on our first morning in Dubrovnik. There was no question she could not answer and we appreciated everything else we saw on the trip so much more due to her fantastic in the countries, fascinating history. We travel a lot and she was by far the best tour guide we have ever had.
Nikolina was excellent and a fantastic tour guide. She knew her topic, was interesting and very easy to get along with and kept things moving at just the right pace. Everything you could ask for from a tour guide.
