Hello dear Travelers! My name is Nikolina, I live and work as a tour guide in Dubrovnik . For a couple of years I lived and worked in Italy. It was an amazing experience for me! Since I graduated Russian language & Linguistics at Zagreb University in 2003. I have been working as a tour guide in Dubrovnik. In 2006. I attended a course and obtained a license for a professional tour guide for Dubrovnik & Neretva County. For twenty years I guide different tours in English, Russian and Italian languages. I adore my job because every day is a challenge. I meet different people from different parts of the world and I have an opportunity to bring them closer so many things Dubrovnik has to offer. Dubrovnik has always been an amazing town and I'm sure that after the tour with a local guide You will agree with me. If You stay in Dubrovnik (or Cavtat) for a few days, there are many interesting places to visit. If You arrive with a cruise ship, tell me your preferences and length of your stay and I will suggest the best combination for you! That was the official part about me! Overview of your Dubrovnik tour
I remember. . . . Just a day after the first filming in Dubrovnik ended (2011) I guided a group from one of the cruise ships. During a sightseeing tour I mentioned what was happening in Dubrovnik for the last few weeks, as this was a huge thing for such a small town. After a while a young man approached me saying how huge fan of the GoT he was, and what a nice surprise it was for him. Of course he was a bit sad that he had missed the whole thing :) So, if You are a huge fan like that young fellow or just curious about the Game of Thrones sites, join me on this tour. Besides the Old town, some of the sites are on the small island of Lokrum situated in front of the Old town. We can reach it in 15 minutes by regular boat line. Also, some of the scenes were filmed in Arboretum Trsteno, 20 min by car from Dubrovnik. If You are interested to visit one of those 2 locations or both, it will be necessary to extend the duration of the tour and You should contact me in order to make a custom tour.

Nikolina is a first rate, professional tour guide. Our 2 1/2 hour tour with her in Dubrovnik was way more than just Game of Thrones. She explained history, economy, social customs and so much more about Croatia. We saw everything we wanted in old town Dubrovnik and learned more than expected. She had a book with pictures of scenes from GOT that we could compare to actual locations which was great. She gave us helpful tips and suggestions for our free time too. We really enjoyed our tour with Nikolina,because besides telling us where some scenes of Game of Thrones took place, she also told us about the history of each place we visited in Dubrovnik with her, it was like being in a class of History, we learned some very interesting things about this beautiful city and Nikolina was very nice with us, answering all our questions and she was very patient too, if we go back to Dubrovnik someday, I am sure we will call her for another tour.
Your Dubrovnik tour itinerary
Meeting at Pile* in front of the Tourist Information office (I will hold a sign with Your name) The tour will start with the visit of the Fort of St. Lawrence, built on a 37 meters high cliff from where you will get a fantastic view of the Old town. After we visit the fort we will proceed to the Old town and visit other famous sites. The tour ends on the main street of Stradun. There is a lot of walking and you must be in a condition to do a stairs. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
