Greetings my dear visitor! Ever since I can remember I love storytelling and foreign languages, so it was obvious from the early beginnings what I will do in my life. On the streets of Dubrovnik was where I made my first steps, where I got my first bruises and broken tooth. Within these walls is where I had my first crush, very first night out and where I took the first pictures of my kids. I find my life engraved in these stones. I started guiding in 2001 when I worked as a tour escort for the overland tours throughout former Yugoslav republics. Graduated at the Faculty of foreign trade and tourism and in 2007 I became licensed local guide for Dubrovnik and Neretva county. If you would like to hear stories beyond the descriptions that can be found in guidebooks and learn all about the plague, the feminism, the customs, if you would like to know why we take coffee so serious and how do we wear the high heels in a city with over 5000 steps you are in a right place! Hope you will join one of my tours and let me make you never want to leave this place! - Licensed Tour Guide for Dubrovnik - Neretva County since 2007 - Tour escort since 2001 - Master Degree in Economy / Tourism - President of Bus companies union for Dubrovnik - Neretva County - Authorized for port entry with a vehicle so I will meet the cruise guests by the gangway - Licensed bus owner - Digital marketing specialist

If there is a part of Dubrovnik I can't get enough of that's for sure - City Walls! Dubrovnik city walls offer nearly 2 kilometers of pure beauty. The story goes back to the 11th century when a small settlement realized they needed a strong defense wall to protect them from their vicious enemies. As the centuries went by the walls were reinforced several times and brought to their majestic appearance as known today. I will meet you at Ploce Gate, the main entrance to the Old town and take a short walk to St Luke's fort to reach the entrance. From St Luke's fort we will go directly to the most beautiful part of the walls, the Northern part. Don't be suspicious when I tell you there are 1190 steps, they are spread on 2 km length of the walls, and there are three exits. From Minceta fortress to St John fort, at the third exit, there will be numerous photo options so don't forget to charge your cameras! Sturdy shoes, sunscreens and bottle of water are mandatory for this tour.
09:00 Meeting at Ploce Gate, the Southern entrance to the Old town. Short walk to the entrance to the walls at St Luke's fort. Walk towards the highest part of the walls, Minceta fortress with several photo stops. 09:45 - 10:00 Camera time, photo stop and a break at Minceta fortress 10:00 - walk downhill towards the first exit. If you feel like you don't want to continue, or you are just short on time, we can use this exit 10:30 Arrival to the St John's fort at the Southern part of the walls, photo stop and restroom break 11:30 back at St Luke's fort for the exit IMPORTANT NOTICE: Tour not suitable for clients suffering from vertigo, confined to the wheelchair or with walking disability. Sturdy shoes, sunscreens, hats and a bottle of water are mandatory. There are three entrances/exits therefore it is not obligatory to do the whole tour around the walls. I can customize the tour to fit your preferences.
