Dobar dan! My name is Paolo and I'm a licensed tourist guide in Dubrovnik. For almost 20 years I have been sharing the passion for my country and the city I live in with travelers from around the world. Working as a tour leader for different British and American tour operators I had the chance to travel far and wide and gain the experience needed to provide an excellent service to travelers. If Croatia shows on your bucket list all I can say is don't think twice, go for it, as Croatia is an unmissable destination. Needless to say that no trip to Croatia is complete without a visit to Dubrovnik. . . and this is where I come in! I'll be very happy and proud to share my city with you so if you decide to visit my corner of the world and if you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to ask. I look forward to meeting you in Dubrovnik! Please, note that all of my tours can be customized, do not hesitate to inquire for a quote. * Licensed tourist guide for Dubrovnik region (license issued by the Croatian Ministry of Tourism) * Member of Dubrovnik Tourist Guide Association None

This tour should be high on travelers' lists as it has been tailored for all guests who have limited time in Dubrovnik and would like to learn, in a couple of hours, interesting and fun facts about the city. During our walking tour I would like to show you around the Old Town which is packed to its rafters with churches, monasteries and palaces. Apart from learning a lot about the the landmarks of Dubrovnik such as the medieval Walls, Lovrijenac fortress, the Franciscan monastery, the Church of St. Blaise and many more we shall be making a few detours to discover the tucked away backstreets of the Old Town where locals still live and it is them, the locals, that give charater to the Old Town. One of my passions is local history so should you decide to discover the glorious past of Dubrovnik join me on this tour. Did you know that Dubrovnik claims several world firsts such as one of the oldest pharmacies, one of the earliest sewage systems, quarantines, the orphanage. . . to mention just a few.
During the sightseeing tour, you'll get to: • discover the Old Town which has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage list • walk down the main street called Stradun • stop and take a photo of Onofrio's Fountain built at the very end of the medieval aqueduct which was an amazing feat of engineering given the time period • stop in front the Franciscan Monastery and hear the story about its pharmacy • photograph and enjoy the elaborate architecture of Sponza Palace and the Rector's Palace • stop in front of the Cathedral and St Blaise's Chruch to learn about the protector of our city. Should you decide to take a peek inside, knees and shoulders must be covered • walk down the Jewish street where the Synagogue is located • take a look at what used to be the commercial heart of medieval Dubrovnik i. e. the Old Port. The itinerary can be customized before booking or even while on tour. Just let me know!

Walking tour. The Old Town of Dubrovnik is a pedestrian zone, therefore, no transportation is needed.
3 Brsalje ulica, Dubrovnik, Dubrovačko-neretvanska županija, 20000, Croatia
I shall be waiting for you just outside the western city gate called Pile Gate. You will find me in front of the "Nautika" restaurant holding a sign with your name printed on it.
