I finished high school in Grand Haven, MI, USA and then I came back for college in Croatia. I spent a lot of time in Cavtat and as local I tell you a lot of details about beginings of Dubrovnik walking by the beautiful Adriatic sea in small but unique Cavtat. Past of Cavtat and Dubrovnik is tangled, so we will untwist it together. You will have some time in Cavtat to enjoy yourself and I will give you suggestions for good gelato or even lunch if you wish. Dubrovnik is where we will finish our history story, strolling through famous small streets and plazas of old Republic of Ragusa aka Dubrovnik, where I grew up and even went to school. It is called pearl of Adriatic for a reason. We will walk by most spectacular sights like Franciscans monastery, Rector's Palace , Sponza, St. Blaise and of course, one of the most known streets of the world, Stradun. . .
