Welcome to London. It's one of the wonders of the world and a very exciting place with something for everybody to enjoy. I'm a third generation Londoner and have been born and bred in the City.

I'm a qualified City of London guide and have been leading many groups through the city. I love exploring together and each tour is different and everybody brings something new to the day. I've appeared on the US TV network NBC "Today" programme and spoken about what's available for visitors in London.

I can run the tours described here or we can customise tours to meet your exact requirements.

I've written a series of books "City of London guide books" available on Amazon which give a great background to the walks.

I'm a specialist in the art, architecture, sights, eating and drinking places, churches, synagogues, mosques , gardens and history of the City of London and Whitechapel and lead regular walks in the area. I've written books about London's sights, literature and hotels, pubs and restaurants.

I'm a graduate of Literature from Cambridge University and our walks are shot through with the history and characters of the city. I've worked in high tech for 40 years and been involved in the business side of the city.

In short there's never a dull moment, come rain, wind or shine. I look forward to meeting you.

I love to share the highways, byways and alleys of the city. On the walks we explore the key sights of the city, literary, historical background and of course some ancient pubs. Our walks are usually immersive with plenty of chances for everyone to get involved

I have worked with the City of London Corporation, Greater London Authority, London Festival of Architecture, IT and Butchers' Livery companies, Circle Squared, Society of Authors, Baker McKenzie, London Unseen, Zyen and many other organisations arranging customised tours.

I am a City of London certified guide and a ITG Green Guide.
I run tours for the City of London.
I also run tours for the Greater London Authority.
Other organisations I work with are Circle Squared and Society of Authors.
I am a graduate of Cambridge University with a literature degree.
I've also a Computer Science qualifications.

We'll be starting near St Paul's cathedral and our walk will include the Apothecaries' Hall, St Sepulchre, the Old Bailey, St Barts Hospital, St John's Gate, the Charterhouse, Plague pits.

We'll see the Barber Surgeons' Hall, beautiful medicinal herbal gardens and other sights.

We'll look at insights into the history of medicine and the pioneers who lived in London and have contributed to progress in healthcare.

Dr Ann Robinson , a GP and medical journalist will provide medical insights during the walk and place the sights which we will pass into context.

I worked for many years in the City of London and I'll share with you my insider stories about living, working and having fun in the city.

We'll have lots of time for coffee, lunch (sandwich, quick snack, or one of the many special restaurants) and perhaps visit one of the many amazing and historic pubs in London.

London - Medical marvels - a walking tour through medical and historical sights in the heart of the City -

We'll be starting from Dickens' house in Doughty street. We look at the Chancery Lane area, many sites important in the life and work of Dickens, Dr Johnson's house, a very old and very literary pub where over 50 writers have drunk, ancient areas important to Restoration drama, the writer of King Kong, the first female news editor, Shakespeare lodgings, John Donne's footprint, Thomas More, Thomas Hobbes, Pope, Milton, William Blake , John Keats, Samuel Pepys and many others.

We will review the work of a contemporary writer and have lots of chances for an immersive and participative experience.

There'll be lots of opportunities to enjoy refreshments in the many great restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs on our route.

London's literary history - walk through the literary heart of the City of London with your local guide -Walking tour

We'll be starting from Liverpool Street station. We look at the Bishopsgate area, old churches, city alleyways, discuss coffee houses, look at the Royal Exchange, the Mansion House and Bank of England. We take some time and meander through the city looking at some pre-1666 buildings, the devastation of World War Two, contemporary buildings, discuss livery companies, the Romans, the genius of Christopher Wren and much more besides.
