Although Fukuoka is a very big city, I did not know much about it prior to our tour. Our tour guide, Kate, was fantastic. She put together a very nice day. Our group was treated to a very interesting tour of shrines and temples in and around the city. Kate was very informative and especially kind.

She is very kind and knowledgeable, her English is excellent (in fact, she also works as an English teacher) and we liked a lot that she showed us areas „off the beaten track“ (e.g. Japanese family life on a Sunday morning during cherry blossom season). Our day with her could not have been better.

Corresponding, in English, with Kayoko to set up & customize our tour was easy. She was on time to meet us at our hotel & the van hire she arranged was perfect for 5 of us, plus driver & Kayoko. Although it was raining, we did everything on our itinerary, saw the reclining buddha at the Nanzoin temple and enjoyed the unique & delicious food goodies...
