I am fond of history, art and archaeology. . . soccer, swimming and hiking are my other passions. I love Italian food (especially roman pasta), I'm very lucky becouse I grown up eating dishes coocked by the best chef ever. . . my Mum, even my wife is not bad. . . !
I love sharing my knowledge and my love for Rome with my guests and help them to discover must-see sites but also hidden gems of my beloved city.

We will start the tour visiting the Vatican Museums, where masterpieces collected by the Popes, throughout the centuries, are displayed: Roman sculptures, ancient mosaics, fresco paintings made by the most important and famous Italian artists such as Raphael and Michelangelo and much more. . .
Than we will visit the former Papal apartment, the famous Raphael's Rooms and the Amazing Sistine Chapel painted by Michelangelo.
From the Sistine we will take advantage of the exclusive short cut to reach St. Peter's Basilica (without waiting in line) and discover the largest Church and one of the holiest Christian sites in the world.
As an official guide of the Vatican, I will be happy to guide you throughout the rooms, galleries and courtyards showing you all the highlights and telling you all the stories behind masterpieces and artists who made them.

Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel &amp; St. Peter's Basilica Private Tour

My reliable driver will meet you at Civitavecchia at 8am, after approx 1. 5 hours drive, you'll reach Rome.
We'll start our tour visiting Villa Farnesina, one of the rare examples of a Renaissance Villa in Rome, built by Agostino Chigi and decorated by Raphael and his pupils in the XVI century.
Then we'll walk through the alleys of Trastevere and, crossing the Tiber island, we will reach Rione Sant'Angelo, also known as ex Jewish ghetto.
From the Jewish Quarter we'll move to the beautiful church of Santo Stefano Rotondo, built inside a Roman building and decorated with interesting XVI century fresco paintings.
After a lunch break, we'll visit the Galleria Borghese, that houses a remarkable collection of works of art made by the most important artists such as Raphael, Bernini, Canova and more. This marvelous collection dates back to the 17th century, wanted by Cardinal Scipio Borghese, nephew of Pope Paul V.
After the visit (at 3. 30pm) we'll meet our driver, ready to take you back to Civitavecchia.
