Overview of your Rome tour
Colosseum and Ancient Rome Private Tour is a 3 hours tour designed to discover everything about the Colosseum and the daily life in Ancient Rome. Since I was a kid I loved walking through the ruins of ancient Rome, today it's a big pleasure for me to share my knowledge with my guests. The tour starts outside the Colosseum with an Introduction of the surrounding area, then gets inside, through a "skip the line" entrance, avoiding endless lines. Once inside ypu will learn everything about gladiators, emperors and spectacles that took place here, almost two thousand years ago. The visit continues admiring Roman triumphal arches and climbing the Palatine Hill, the place where Rome was founded and emperors built their magnificent palace. Carlo was fabulous. He has a wonderful personality with great energy and enthusiasm. I can't imagine Rome with out him. Carlo was very organized and efficient. Carlo was an exceptional guide. It was a very hot day, and he made sure we were in the shade as much as possible. He is a historian, and was able to answer all the random questions we had with enthusiasm. He even managed to keep our three kids engaged and excited during the tour.
