I am a born and bred Icelander, for better or for worse. I trace my family back in this region 30 generations. That means that every valley, every mountain and every place has a connection in my family history. I want to include my guests in that history I have worked as a tour guide since 2010 full time since 2015 and I have an extensive background in various other fields and that benefits me greatly in this line of work. Currently I live in Akureyri, the city I was born in, but I have lived in many different places in Iceland with my family and that offers me a lot of local insight. I love meeting people from all over the world that allow me to see Iceland through their eyes. I make it my mission to provide memorable tours and experiences for my guests. My philosophy in guiding is that you are not customers, you are my guests and friends that allow me to come along for the ride. I love travelling around Iceland since it is a place filled with contrasts and varying landscapes. Endless views and wonderful people.
