Hello! I’m a lifelong Icelander with a deep love for this land and a passion for sharing it with curious travellers. I currently live in Akureyri in North Iceland, but over the years I’ve lived in many parts of the country — from remote fishing villages to the lively capital — and that variety gives me a unique perspective I love bringing into my tours. My guests often tell me that my tours feel more like travelling with a local friend than a formal guide. I believe travel should be personal, memorable, and filled with moments you won’t find in a brochure — and that’s exactly what I aim to offer. When I’m not guiding, I’m out exploring, researching new stops, and refining my routes — so even returning guests discover something new. Whether you're visiting for the first time or coming back for more, I’d be honoured to help you experience Iceland in a way that’s meaningful, flexible, and fun. If you’re looking for a private tour with a knowledgeable local who’s genuinely passionate about what they do — I’d love to hear from you. Let’s make your Iceland trip unforgettable. - Licensed Professional driver. - First aid course and additional refresher courses at regular intervals - Fully licensed vehicle by the Icelandic Transport Authority. - Fully licensed Day tour provider by the Icelandic Tourist Board. - Fully licensed Iceland tour guide badge number 1159. - Thirteen years of experience in guiding

Our day begins at Goðafoss — the “Waterfall of the Gods” — a place of beauty, legend, and deep personal meaning. It’s not the biggest or loudest of Iceland’s waterfalls, but for me, it feels like home. I’ve been visiting since childhood, and it holds a quiet power that captures the spirit of Iceland across generations. After time to take in the falls and surrounding gorge, we’ll return toward Akureyri through the countryside where my family has lived for centuries. We’ll stop at the Christmas House — a charming place where it’s always the festive season. You’ll find unique ornaments, Scandinavian treats, and local crafts, all wrapped in Icelandic holiday spirit. I’ll share stories and customs from our Yule traditions — from the quirky to the heartfelt — to end our day on a warm and joyful note.
We’ll begin at Goðafoss, the “Waterfall of the Gods” — a graceful cascade steeped in history and personal meaning. From there, we’ll take a scenic countryside drive through the area where my family has lived for generations, offering a quiet glimpse into everyday Icelandic life. We’ll stop at the Christmas House and Garden, a year-round celebration of festive charm filled with ornaments, Scandinavian treats, and handmade treasures.
