FANTASTIC! I absolutely recommend that you engage Julius to conduct this tour for you. He is knowledgeable, energetic, considerate, and flexible. Most impressively, he is passionate and enthusiastic about his country and eager to share it with you. Do not be intimidated by the duration of the tour -- the time will fly past, and Julius will allow as much or as little time as you wish to see the many sights. The van is comfortable and even has wi-fi! This tour is an absolute MUST when you visit Akureyri, which you should try to do.

Julius is an excellent guide and showed us the historical, social, economic and geological history of the Myvatn area. He is very knowledgeable, a man of many experiences and a true story teller. He captured our imagination for how life is and was in this northern region of Iceland. There was so much we saw in our day and sadly we did not have anothe day to continue exploring. This is a private experience, and the itinerary is flexible. If you have special interests or requests, I’m happy to adjust the day to suit your pace and preferences.
