Lake Mývatn and the surroundings is a must see while exploring the North! We will see many interesting places like Goðafoss, that is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland, Lake Mývatn was created by a large basaltic lava eruption 2300 years ago, and the surrounding landscape is dominated by volcanic land-forms, including lava pillars and rootless vents. Hverarönd Geothermal spot noted for its bubbling pools of mud & steaming fumaroles emitting sulfuric gas. One of the most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss. Unique lava formations of Dimmuborgir which are among the most popular tourist attractions in the Myvatn area and Skútustaðagígar (pseudo craters area). The tour can be customized. Feel free to message me if you have any special requests. I'm always open for any changes.

We had a wonderful tour with Kristjan. He was fun and knowledgeable. We went to the most beautiful waterfalls. Did a little walking trek on snow which was challenging but so worth it. We had a traditional Icelandic meal at Vogafjos, which we all enjoyed. Thank you Kristjan for a great day!
Very friendly and very accomodating. We were able to see sites that we would have missed if we had not taken this tour. Very considerate of one traveler that was not able to keep up with the rest of the group. Very knowledgeable about all sites that we were able to see. Great communication skills. Would book with Reynair again if I had the opportunity.
Our guide was terrific! He shared his personal experiences growing up in Akureyri and showed us his grandparents farm among other fun places. We highly recommend!
Reynir did a fantastic job with our tour. We had 10.5 hours with him, and he showed us an amazing amount, with lots of knowledge and was also flexible. My wife, for example, mentioned how sorry she was that we had arrived in Iceland too late to see puffins. He found a cliff edge, where sea birds congregate, and was able to find a single puffin for us! He saw how much we enjoyed waterfalls, and took us to more than originally planned. He was always upbeat and positive, and we just had a blast!!!
My tour with Reynir Siguvinsson was just perfect. We arranged a private tour and she was most accommodating and knowledgeable.
First we drive along the coast of Eyjafjordur, We begin by stopping at Goðafoss, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Iceland, on our way to Dettifoss and lake Mývatn, the lake was created by a large basaltic lava eruption 2300 years ago, and the surrounding landscape is dominated by volcanic landforms, including lava pillars and rootless vents. We will stop at the hot spring area at Hverarönd in Námaskarð. Then it comes to one of the most powerful waterfall in Europe, Dettifoss. On the way back we come to the unique lava formations of Dimmuborgir which are among the most popular tourist attractions in the Myvatn area and also in Skútustaðagígar (pseudo craters area). Our last stop is in Eyjafjordur where you can see over the fjord to Akureyri.
