Hello there! My name is Clara Manu. I am brazilian and live in Germany since 2008.

My first experience as Tour Guide was in Brazil, in my hometown, Salvador da Bahia. After that I moved to Germany and got a master degree in Tourism Management. Than I started to work as Tour Guide in Munich, doing sightseeing and day-tours through Bavaria.

During the pandemic I moved to Constance Lake (Bodensee) area, where I also offer private tours from Lindau and Constance.

My experience as Tour Guide is the result of long-term partnership with Incoming Operators both in Brazil and in Germany. Since  2022 I also work with ToursByLocals.

During my tours, we will adress to topics related to the local and regional politics, history, arts and gastronomy, as well as the people and traditions. ​

Beyond my mother language, portuguese, I speak fluent german. I also speak english, french and spanish on intermediate levels.

Munich is a cultural metropole, plenty of secrets and personality.  Founded around XII century, the prosperous city became a centre for arts and sciences in the XIXth century. Munich is also called "cradle of the Nazi Movement", since it was the city where Adolf Hitler started his political activities in the bavarian Party NSDAP. 
On a private walking tour, you will have the opportunity to experience the old city and its peculiarities, and also  will understand a little bit more about the beginning of the 3rd Reich.

The Bavarian Alps is one of the most beautiful places to see in Germany! This tour is a "have to" for everyone who travels through Bavaria.

On this Tour we have the possibility to visit Oberammergau, little village famous for its traditional wood carvin and painted houses (Lüftmalarei).
Not far from Oberammergau is the Linderhof Castle, main Residence of the King Ludwig II of Bavaria, known as the "mad-king", who also built the Neuchwanstein Castle, the most famous neo-romanesque building in Europe.

If you would like to visit the Neuschwanstein Castle, it is recommended to make a reservation. Be aware that the castle is overcrowded in the summer and it is not guaranteed that tickets will be available for the day!!!!
However, the views surrounding the castle are amazing and you still can visit Linderhof or the castle ahead of Neuschwanstein, the Hochschwangau Castle, where the King grew up and got his inspirations.

Dachau, located approx. 18 km northwest of Munich, was the first "prototype" concentration camp to be established by the Nazi Party in March 1933 and was later to become the "training ground of terror" for the SS.

Over 200, 000 prisoners were registered at Dachau in 12 years, out of which 31, 951 were registered deaths. Over 34 nationalities were brought through Dachau and its subcamps, thousands of them would perish from overwork, starvation, or disease.

Learn about Dachau's history in full detail, while hearing first-hand accounts from survivor's testimonies and stories of bravery and heroism. You will have a chance to watch the moving documentary film made directly after the liberation. ﻿

Dachau was not only the first concentration camp but it would also become the first international concentration camp memorial site in the Federal Republic of Germany in 1965. It has become an important place of learning, memory, and remembrance for thousands of visitors each year
