Discover Leipzig with me! The booming merchant, music, and book city with its famous trade fair since 1497 - a European platform for the exchange of exotic and newly invented products.

Have a cup of coffee in medieval "Auerbachs Keller" where Dr. Faustus sold his soul to Mephisto. For music friends: J. S. Bach himself lived and worked in this wonderful city most of his life! And other composers lived in Leipzig, too. Today Leipzig has a modern, nearly youthful appearance with a lot of historic buildings.

You will see Thomas Church, the Renaissance City Hall, Nicolai Church (the origin of the "Peaceful Revolution" which finally lead to German Reunification in 1989), Renaissance Boerse, and splendid museums.
