Thank you for stopping by my page! My name is Maria and I am a full-time professional Authorized Helsinki Tour Guide with twelve-years of guiding experience and areas of specialization in history, design and architecture.

Helsinki has been my home town for the past thirty-five years of my life, and I take great pleasure in sharing it with visitors from all over the world in either English or Spanish. Superseding simply fluent language skills, I offer native-speaking guide services guaranteeing seamless interaction and a rich experience.

My personality, interests, enthusiasm and passion show in my work. I combine professional service with a personal touch delivering tours to visitors from all over the world, spanning all walks of life, all backgrounds and all interests - including somebody such as yourself! For me the best of rewards is to be told by guests that I have been the best guide of their vacation.

My guiding services are also regularly used by the Helsinki City Tourist Office which has at its disposal a specialized group of FAM (stands for 'familiarization' ) guides responsible for hosting visits from the international media. Many journalists and TV presenters writing travel articles or hosting travel shows about Helsinki have often been looked after by me !

I am a keen amateur photographer and all the photos on my pages have been taken by myself. On our tour I can help you to create wonderful photograph memories.
