I still remember the first time I saw ancient statues, I was in the Vatican Museum and I was a child. Those marble giants were not just silent witness of their time but it seemed like I could hear their voices talking to me from the past. Was it that a decisive moment in my life? Probably it was! I graduated in Art History at Rome University and while waiting to find a "real" job I started to work as a guide and, little by little, it became my job! Great tour to get out of the city and see some unusual locations. Although these might be viewed as minor attractions, they are what made Rome work. Shows how the population received water. Explains the road structure and how people and goods travelled in and out of the city. Finally, showed what happened to the dead.

Pick you up at your hotel by private luxury car with a driver, then we will visit: -Catacombs of San Callisto -The Crypt of the Popes -The ancient Appian Way -The Mausoleum of Cecilia Metella - Roman aqueducts Return to the hotel or wherever you prefer (central Rome) Weather, traffic time of year may change the itinerary. This tour can be customized to fit your preferences Please write me if there are people with mobility problems and if you use or need a wheelchair ATTENTION: - Only inside the catacombs will we join the internal guides because the regulation provides that the management of the tours is entrusted and supervised by internal staff. -On Wednesday instead of the Catacombs of Saint Callisto we will visit the Catacombs of Santa Domitilla.
