I graduated in Ecotourism in Quito.
About 12 years ago, I started working as a naturalist guide in the Amazon Rainforest and now I specialize in Private Tours around Ecuador. During all those years working as a guide, I have been learning more about Ecuador, not only about nature but also about the history and the indigenous groups that inhabited it. I also got the chance to explore and travel several destinations so I can add those visits to my tours.
I have guided groups as well as independent travelers coming from many parts of the world, which allowed me to know firsthand the needs and requirements of the guests visiting Ecuador.
Some of my hobbies came handy with guiding and help me with my work: photography of fauna and nature, bird watching, trekking and mountain climbing.
My tours range from City Tours of the Old Town in Quito to Day trips to the surroundings areas, to experience the Cloud Forest and the Volcanoes. All the itineraries can be customized to meet your needs.
I look forward to seeing you in Quito!
A Recent Review of this guide
We had a wonderful Quito experience with David our tour guide. We customized a tour that met our time constraints and included a visit to a rose farm, a nearby national park, and a hummingbird reserve and lunch. David picked us up at our hotel with a van and driver that comfortably accommodated four people. David is an excellent English speaker; is current on American affairs; and can answer all questions related to Ecuadorian history, life, commerce, geology, plants, animals, etc.
